We’ve all been there. Working hard for the obligatory employee of the month picture on the wall, hung in a Dollar Tree frame. Watches, wristbands, parking spaces, and grab-bag penny-goodies once found in the wishing well at Perkins restaurants, adulthood actually means we look forward to being given these trinkets with a hearty at-a-boy patted onto our backs. Not receiving the acknowledgment can be heartbreaking …  after all, you worked hard for that damn pickle pen!
